Jay Gupta

“Yoga continues to gain immense popularity worldwide as a tool for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual gain,” said Mr. Gupta. “Yoga offers a wide range of practices including Asan (physical postures), Pranayam (breathing exercises), Pratyahar (deep relaxation), Dharana (improved focus) and Dhyan (meditation). They together are designed to enhance our material and spiritual life.”

Yoga has almost become a necessity of life in the modern world suffering from toxic stress. RxRelax Therapeutic Yoga ensures that this ancient practice is accessible to everybody, including people with chronic health conditions and mobility challenges. If you have not been able to practice yoga because of physical limitations, you owe this session to yourself. This practice is very easy to do, yet very powerful at subtle levels.

An experienced team of instructors will lead this yoga immersion. Session is designed to benefit beginners, as well as advanced yoga practitioners. Meaghan “Meg” James will start the program with Seated Therapeutic Yoga that will work as a tip-to-toes tune-up for everybody. This will be followed by a mat-based practice led by Pankaj Patel. Then Mr. Gupta will lead the group into the deeper dimensions of yoga with Pratyahar, Dharana and Dhyan practices.

Meaghan James, a registered Nurse, accomplished contemporary dancer/instructor, Usui Reiki master, and dedicated yoga practitioner who has completed the RxRelax Therapeutic Yoga teacher training, will also provide training.
