Plastic Surgeons Dr. Sonal Pandya and Dr. Jagruti Patel to Talk About Antiaging and Rejuvenation of the Face and Body at the Health Expo on Sunday

BURLINGTON, MA—Area’s two leading plastic surgeons Dr. Sonal Pandya and Dr. Jagruti Patel will talk about antiaging and rejuvenation of the face and body at the mega Health & Wellness Expo on Sunday, April 19, at Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA. Dr. Patel is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Beverly Hospital, and Dr. Pandya serves as co-director of the Lahey Lexington Center for Cosmetic and Laser Surgery.

“Longevity is no longer about just reaching a ripe old age. It’s about feeling and looking your best as you get there,” says Dr. Pandya, a board-certified Plastic Surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. “Over the last decade there has been an explosion in non-surgical facial rejuvenation and antiaging options. This exponential increase has led to heightened awareness but also increased misconceptions on what Plastic Surgery can really do.”

The day-long Expo, which is free for the attendees, is organized by INE MultiMedia, Inc., a non-profit company devoted to promoting and supporting non-profit organizations focused on South Asian community, and is sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Lahey Health, Neem Medical Spa and INDIA New England News.

Dr. Pandya said that her panel at the Health Expo will take the attendees through various options extending from time tested skin products to cutting edge technology.

“Learn about various non-surgical options for antiaging, extending from wrinkle fighting , complexion perfecting skin creams, to what do Botox and fillers really do… to how effective are lasers and skin tighteners,” Dr. Pandya said. “In addition, learn how to freeze localized fat pockets and contour your body without going under the knife.”

Dr. Pandya has been in practice as a plastic surgeon at Lahey Clinic for over 10 years specializing in surgical and non-surgical cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. She serves as co-director of the Lahey Lexington Center for Cosmetic and Laser Surgery.

Dr. Patel will speak about current trends in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, including the most common cosmetic surgery procedures performed in the United States such as breast augmentation, breast reduction tummy tucks eyelid surgery and liposuction.

Dr. Patel, who is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Beverly Hospital, graduated from Boston University School of Medicine in 1995 and then completed a combined residency program in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Brown University. She is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has been practicing in the North Shore for the past 14 years. She is currently the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Beverly Hospital. She also serves on the Northeast Hospital Board as a Trustee.

This panel will be moderated by Dr. Seema Arora , who is president of Indian Medical Association of New England and has been practicing Internal Medicine in the North Shore area for past 16 years and is also certified and experienced in cosmetic medical, antiaging and weight reduction procedures and has served as the medical director of a chain of medical spas.
